Increased inventory levels continue with 9,511 active homes at the end of August a 14% increase at this time last year. Homes are also taking a little longer to sell with the average days on market increasing to 39 days compared to 34 days this time last year.

Prices have leveled off and in some cases decreased slightly from the peak of the Summer Selling Season. Mortgage interest rates continue to stay at historic low levels. Buyers NOW is the time time to be looking for homes. With the peak selling season behind us, there is less competition, more homes to choose from, price reductions and low interest rates. All will contribute for some amazing opportunities this fall.
