January started off with a bang with a 9% gain in sales of January 2019. To assist with the demand Sellers brought nearly 5,000 new listings to the market marking a 2% increase.

Low interest rates and consumer confidence in the market are also factors in the strong real estate market the Denver Metro Area continues to experience.

Denver Metro Year End Real Estate Market Stats 

Another year and decade is in the books. 2019 proved to be another strong year for Denver Metro Area Real Estate. The data showed that buyer demand was strong all year leading to more sales.  

Sales continued to show steady growth with a 4% gain compared to 2018. Sales were only 1% off from the 10-year high that was set back in 2017! 

2019 continued to show price appreciation, however the gains were slower compared to previous years. The average home price for 2019 was $486,595.  Buyers finally found some relief in 2019 with a 4% gain in inventory compared to the previous year.
