Southshore is a former Parade of Homes neighborhood located in the southeastern part of Aurora, Colorado, near the border with the city of Denver. It is a relatively new community that has experienced rapid growth over the past decade, thanks in part to its scenic location on the shores of Aurora Reservoir.
One of the main attractions of Southshore is the Aurora Reservoir, which offers a variety of recreational opportunities such as boating, fishing, swimming, and kayaking. The reservoir also has several beaches and picnic areas, as well as a nature center that offers educational programs and events for people of all ages.
